How we Started...
Steier Ag Aviation was started in 1954 by Elmer Steier as an aerial application company only. Elmer started the Steier Ag Aviation journey with an Aeronca Champ airplane. Throughout the years he purchased and flew Piper Super Cub’s, Piper Pawnee’s, Cessna Ag Trucks, Air Tractor’s and Weatherly’s.
Elmer retired in 1995 and sold the company to Denny Meyer. Denny operated Steier Ag Aviation until 2017 when he then sold it to his son’s, Chad and Tony Meyer who have been working toward building Steier Ag even bigger than it already was.
Chad and Tony since then have welcomed Tom Eischen Sales to the company and changed the name from Steier Ag Aviation, to Steier Ag Aviation and Agronomy.
Today, Steier Ag Aviation and Agronomy provides a wide variety of services such as: Agronomy, Channel Seed, BASF, Corteva, Syngenta, Bayer, and FMC certified retailers along with both aerial and ground application and fertilizer sales.
Steier Ag Aviation and Agronomy is a family-owned business that has been passed down generation after generation and will continue to provide the highest quality service it has since day one. For all of your Agronomy needs, you can count on Steier Ag to be there!
